Ursula joined CFH in June of 2015, bringing with her decades of experience running businesses in various industries.
She is a certified DISC Practitioner, and Action Coach Business Coach. She has taken Life Coaching training through the Coaches Training Institute and holds a Non-Profit Management Certificate from MRU as well as a Computer Programming Certificate from SAIT, and has extensive training and teaching experience.
Music being her original love, Ursula also holds two Bachelor Degrees in Music (one from U of C and one from Germany). When not working at Community Futures Highwood, she likes to play with the Foothills Philharmonic Orchestra.
She loves to spend as much time as possible outdoors going kayaking, hiking, biking, snowshoeing or downhill skiing.
Being originally from Germany, she is enjoying living in close proximity to a German bakery and brewery. She has been living in Canada since 1990 and became a Canadian citizen in 1996.
Billie joined CFH initially as a part time employee coming from running a photography business that lasted 10 years. Now, she finds fulfillment from helping business owners realize their dreams.
She has business and coaching certifications but her biggest qualifications come from being an entrepreneur and a mom.
She is married with two teenagers, and split her time quite unequally between their barn watching her daughter ride horses and various baseball diamonds watching her son play baseball.
She still does photography, along with baking, on the side.
Community Economic Development Coordinator
Cayla joined CFH in the summer of 2020 after finishing her Marketing Analytics Certificate from the University of California. She has a background in Digital Marketing and Marketing Analytics and is currently going to SAIT for her CED Certificate.
Cayla proudly comes from the Métis Nation Region 3, an active member of the Alberta Herbalists Association, and a very loving dog mom (feel free to ask for photos).
She is also an entrepreneur by trade having started her design business Club Wild Creative in 2020.
Digital Service Squad Member
Natasha joined CFH at the beginning of 2022, as a Digital Service Squad Member working on the Digital Economy Program. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Communications and Public Relations in the Spring of 2021, from Mount Royal University, she has worked primarily in the non-profit sector practicing Communications and Fund Development.
Driven by her passion to help small businesses, she joined the CFH team to help business owners in the community develop and implement effective digital tools to generate brand awareness and consumer engagement.
When she’s not in the office, Natasha keeps herself busy chasing after her two dogs with her partner, and hunting down thrifted pieces for their house!
